Criss- Cross Nail Art Tutorial (Using Striping Tape)

Hey everyone,
I hope you all are doing well :). Today I have a criss- cross inspired nail design using striping tape to share. This look can also be achieved using a thin nail art brush however, this method can be difficult if you cannot keep a still hand. For those with such problems striping tape can produce cleaner lines. For this tutorial striping tape will be required in addition to the nail polish. Also, be sure to start off with a base coat to protect your natural nails. Let’s get on to the tutorial!

Step one: Firstly, paint all nails in white.

Step two; Next, place three pieces of striping tape diagonally across the nail in one direction as shown in the photo.

Step three: Repeat step two but in the opposite direction on the same nail as shown in the photo.

Step four: Using a black polish paint over the tape then quickly but gently remove each piece of striping tape.

Step five: To complete the manicure I placed two dots near the cuticle area on the nails without the criss- cross design. Also, clean up around your nails to remove any polish from the skin and add your preferred top coat to smooth out design and add shine.

Products used:
L.A Girl: Obsidian
Sinful Colors: Snow me white
Top Coat- Seche vite fast drying top coat
