Newspaper Nail Art Tutorial (using water)

Hey everyone,

I hope you all are having a great week:) . Today I have a fun and unique newspaper nail art tutorial to share with you all. Many persons use rubbing alcohol for this design but after many attempts the technique that worked best for me featured water. For this tutorial you will need a white polish, newspaper, scissors and a container of water. Also, be sure to start off with a base coat to protect your natural nails. Let’s get on to the tutorial!

Step one: Polish all of your nails in white and ensure they are completely dried.

Step two: Fill a small container with tap water and cut out ten pieces of newspaper. Ensure each cut out can cover your nail entirely.

Step three: Dip your nail into the container of water and leave it for about 15 seconds. Take your nail out and immediately press the writing from the newspaper onto the dampened nail. Hold the newspaper on the nail for about a minute then remove.

Step four: Clean up around your nails to remove any polish or excess newspaper ink from the skin. Add your preferred top coat to smooth out design and add shine.

Thanks for checking out this tutorial. Also, this technique takes some practice so don’t be discouraged if it doesn't work out on the first try (Tip: ensure some pressure is applied when transferring the text on to the nails).  Feel free to leave a comment letting me know what you think of this tutorial and share the page with your family and friends. Look out for another tutorial next week. Enjoy the rest of your week :) .

See you soon.

Ciao,
Shannon
