My Top Ten (10) Essie Nail Polishes

Hey everyone,
I hope you all are having an amazing week. Today, as promised I have my top essie nail polishes to share. Essie is definitely my favourite brand of polish and I have been eager to publish this post. My favourites span across many different colour categories, so I'm sure there is something here everyone will appreciate and, can add to their collection. Also, I will be showing bottle shots and swatches of each colour on swatch sticks. Furthermore, these colours are not in any particular ranked order. Lets get on to what you are really here for, my top ten essie polishes !

#1: Go Overboard- This polish was part of essie's 2012 spring collection and can be described as a dark teal polish. Personally, I think the colour or at least my bottle leans more green than blue. It is fully opaque in two coat but you can get away with one think coat because of its great formula.

#2: Fiji- Probably one of essie's more well known polishes and is described as a white toned baby pink. I absolutely love wearing this polish as it gives a feminine yet classic look. It is opaque in two coats and has a good pretty formula.

#3: Hide and go chic- This colour came about in the 2014 spring collection and can be described as a bright medium blue. When wearing this polish I always think of the ocean. It has an amazing formula and you can get it fully opaque in one coat.

#4: Tart Deco- This shade is considered a dusty coral which leans more peach than pink. It a great choice for vacation and is fully opaque in two coats.

#5: Bikini So Teeny- This shade can be described as a periwinkle which has more of a baby blue tone. Also, it consists of some very fine shimmer. I adore this colour however, the formula can be difficult and takes three coats to be fully opaque.

#6: Lilacism- This is a gorgeous lavender shade which dates back to essie's 2010 spring collection. It looks undoubtedly crisp and classic on the nails. The formula of this polish is average I would say and takes two to three coats to be fully opaque.

#7: Cute As A Button- This colour is considered a bright mid- toned pink. Its a universal shade that will compliment many skin types. It has a great formula that takes two easy coats to become full opaque.

#8: Mint Candy Apple- This essie shade has two different formulas one with more of a pastel blue finish and the other, a pastel green finish. Of course I had to get both formulations and I enjoy wearing them individually. Both bottles have good consistency and are opaque in two coats.

#9: Wicked- This vampy shade can be described as dark, blood red that almost appears black on the nails. Wicked is by far one of my favourites to wear when I want more of an edgy look. The formula can be a bit tricky but full opacity can be achieved in two thick coats.

#10: Midnight Cami- This darkened navy blue which dates back to the fall of 2009 can appear black on the nails. However, what makes this polish absolutely stunning is the very apparent blue shimmer it contains. The formula is great and opacity can be achieved in just one easy coat.
